The ointment Manufacturing Facility is a complete system that is used in the manufacturing of ointment, cream or lotions depending on the ratio of wax/oil to the water in final product. It may used to manufacturing of toothpastes and other Emulsion and Homogenization. It is hygienic and easily maintainable equipment complying with cGMP standard, which is designed for the minimum man handling of the product. It consists of the following

Wax Phase Vessel

The wax phase vessel is vertically oriented cylindrical vessel with a bottom terrispherical disk end and flat openable lid. A top stirrer propeller impeller is used to stir the oil or wax and a jacket is used to heat it before it is transferred into the manufacturing vessel. The vessel is stationary. The outer of vessel has a conical filter.

  • Manufacturing Vessel/Water Phase Vessel

The manufacturing /water phase vessel is vertically oriented cylindrical vessel with a bottom conical disk end and bottom terrispherical disk end. Initially water is coming in this tank and gets heated by jacketed water; wax/oil comes from wax phase vessel. Other raw material can be added manually through the manhole/top disk nozzles. A top mounted anchor stirrer with scrapper is used to stir the product at slow speed. The vessel has a jacket in which the product can be heated and /or cooled. The top disk end of the vessel can be lifted or lowered using hydraulic / pneumatic cylinder mounted on the one side of vessel. Which are power by power pack / air inlet

  • Storege Vessel

Storage vessel is vertically oriented cylindrical vessel with a bottom conical disk end and top flat openable lid the vessel is mounted on stand for easy movability

  • Top Disk End Lifting Mechanisum

The top disk end of the manufacturing vessel along with motor, gear box and entire anchor assembly shell be lifted (300 mm height) by means of hydraulic /pneumatic cylinder and will be driven by power pack /air pressure. The mechanism is provided for easy lifting or lowing of the top disk.
